What is it that fuels each and every one of us in this world? For me, it is Disney Vacation Travel.

 

I started traveling to Walt Disney World at the age of five.  From that moment forward, a life long obsession began.  I couldn't believe the magical world my parents shared with me.   I begged to go back every year.  Although, it wasn't always in our budget to go, we managed to make it back from time to time.

 

In college, I was lucky enough to be chosen to participate in the Walt Disney World College Program.  I spent the Spring of 1995 learning about Disney business practices and operations. 

 

After college, I drifted away from Disney a bit.  My career focus was in Marketing and Public Relations.  In 2003, my husband, Frankie, and I started a tour company in Nashville, TN.  We have been successfully operating tour for over fourteen years.

 

We have three children, Logan, Cole & Meredith.  When Logan was three he was diagnosed with severe Autism.   That put a damper on our vacations for a while.  After much research, we decided to attempt Disney with a special needs child.  In short, it was amazing and my love of Disney was renewed.  I started planning Disney family vacations two or three times per year.  My knowledge of the products, resort and parks became so vast, my friends started asking me to help them plan their Disney vacations too!  With much encouragement, after 16 successful years in tourism, I have decided to follow my first passion, Disney travel.

In the Fall of 2017, I decided to become a Magical Vacation Planner.  Although, I can book all types of vacations and cruises, my first love is still Disney.

 

I started this blog in hope of sharing my Disney and travel knowledge with the world. Since I started it, I have found such a sense of fulfillment in my own life. I enjoy writing about my own travel experiences, Disney travel destinations, news, giving travel tips, and helping people make the most of their vacations.  With each passing day, Magical Vacation Mom gains more followers, and with that, even more success.
